Vacation

I just returned home from a most wonderful trip for mine and my DH anniversary. It was just long enough to enjoy but not miss home too much. We went down to the ocean and ate, walked, relaxed and just enjoyed being together. While I was there I checked my email to find out that I won a wonderful shower cap from Retro Revival. My DH said "We never win anything". Well obviously he was talking about himself, because I won a fancy shower cap. I also reminded him of the visit we made to Pennsylvania and we went to a nice little restaurant. They happened to be having a grill set giveaway. A couple of us from the table registered for it, me being one of them. Low and behold, a month or so later, I get an email. I won the grilling set. I couldn't believe it! One stop into this little restaurant and being from Texas and I won their set. I had my BIL go pick it up for me and he saved it till our next trip to PA.

So obviously it isn't me who doesn't win..... it's DH! LOL.

But back to reality... I always do miss home so much though. As the saying goes... There's no place like home! I didn't realize till I was older how true that really is. I enjoy trips but I like to keep them short enough that I don't miss home too much. So I'm looking forward to receiving my winnings! and getting back to my regular routine.....
